WALT,we are learning to be kaitiaki in our community

Yesterday we went to te tinana, whitebait connection/reflection

Yesterday my class went to te tinana to
go see a girl her name was nina. She was
talking about whitebait

It was really interesting, a lot of things
went in to the lakes like roads mixed with
water the bowl we had to tip it in was a
bowl of clear water  the things we had
was toilet paper campground mold and
rubbish cow poo, sewers that granted in
to the lake.

Today be for morning tea te puawai and te
tinana went to see nina she had showed
use tools and things we need to have bef
ore we leave to go to lake ngatu and lake
waipera. She said that she will set some
craps to catch some fish on  Thursday.
Nina said we are not allowed to leave
the crap in there for 24 owers. nina said
that if we catch a Mosquito fish we will
have to kill it because mosquito fish kill
Native fish that are in the lake but if
we catch a bug that live in the lakes nina
has a Container with little gaps in it.
Just before morning tea we got into
groups of four in my group, in my group
was chase,toyson,kaiden and shyloh. I
was the leader of my  group. Then nina
set up some things for 2 groups each
one

the best part was geting in a group because I was the learder
